Christmas in Park City

There is nothing like a white Christmas. And Park City gave us that. We enjoyed a month of snow shoeing and hiking.

The boys had a great day snow boarding while David skied.

We hiked Stewart Falls hours after meeting Greg and Lindsey in Provo

We hiked with the D'Agostinis

Cody and Whitney drove from Oregon to spend Christmas with us. First up: grocery shopping. Cassidy was a little trooper.

Cassidy and I had a grandma date with Shawna and her grandaughters, Kennedy and Piper. The girls made fast friends. They had the best time at an indoor jumping center.

Thanks to Piper, Cassidy loves to pull this same face

Cassidy was obsessed with the hot tub. She wanted to go "swimming" everyday.

And she loved sitting in "the big chair"

This post isn't complete without a picture of Wendy Weisenburger. I was beyond happy to see her for a few minutes before she left for Poland to be reunited with Guy. The Weisenburgers are incredibly significant in our lives. It is because of Guy that David works for Mattel. Although we do not see them as often as we'd like, we adore them and treasure their friendship!

One of my darling seminary students from San Diego, Erin Daly, is attending UofU. I was able to give her the real Utah experience: Chuck-A-Rama. I love this girl to death!!!

We were so happy that Jake's girlfriend, Shauna came to visit for a few days. We fell in love with her

We had the best Christmas with the kids

  1. Breaks my heart that we weren't there for all of this but I know it was our decision. Still hurts. Love all the hiking and playing in the snow. I can't get over Cassidy's climbing skills and her bare feet at the park. She is one of a kind. Love all the "real" around the house pictures. Really feels like we were apart of it because I know that cozy chaos. Everyone looks so great.
